Microchips are a permanent way to identify your pets and they are an aid in finding them if they should ever become lost. They are about the size of a grain of rice and are easily implanted via a special syringe. A very good time to microchip your pet is during a procedure such as a spay, neuter, or dental cleaning. Mobile Veterinary Services also has a brand new, 600 dollar universal scanner which can pick up every single type of microchip on the market. If you wish, we can scan your animal for free (if we are already at your house) and give you their chip number for reference. Microchips do not cause cancer and cannot be modified or changed so your animal will always be safely identified. Our Microchips do not require yearly/annual fees.
